An exciting full-time role has become available for a Sales Development Manager, reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director and deputising in their absence.
This is the ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic all-rounder with sound marketing skills to experience a lively marketing and sales environment within an established brand that has the friendliness and dynamism of a family-owned business coupled with the resources of a larger corporate.
The successful individual will undertake all elements of sales and marketing. This will involve regular liaison with the holiday parks, development and implementation of sales & marketing plans and sales & marketing budget reconciliation.
Main sales activities in this role are:
Seeking and following through with new opportunities, partnerships and product development. Supporting, training and coaching the Contact Centre Team and Park teams at all levels as and when required.
Assist in managing the day-to-day sales and marketing functions and ensuring that activity and resources are planned and implemented to exceed sales targets. Support in building relationships with internal and external partners. Ensure full compliance of GDPR. Chairing weekly sales meetings in the Sales & Marketing Director’s absence.
Digital – channels including PPC, SEO, DBM etc.
Social – channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube etc.
Direct – direct mail, email, SMS etc.
Tasks including content generation in line with brand tone of voice inc copy writing, video and photography to populate proprietary and third party websites, blogs, listings and social media.
Revenue & Yield Management
Maximise occupancy, revenue and secondary sales in line with targets, business plans and tariff growth objectives, including developing a profiling strategy to minimise gaps to maximise revenue opportunities. Manage performance versus budget and forecast ensuring all concerns and opportunities are escalated to the Sales & Marketing Director as soon as they arise.
Dealing with guest queries with care and consideration with a goal to exceeding their expectations.
We’re looking for someone who wants to roll their sleeves up and get involved across all elements of sales. You’ll be able to grow and develop the business – the clue’s in the job title – so we’re not looking for a trainee or apprentice, you’ll need to come to us with demonstrable skills and experience; but we’re flexible to exactly what that will be.
